ABOUT ME

My name is Sarah Dale, and I am a freelance musician and vocal specialist based in the beautiful county of Derbyshire, UK. As a versatile vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, I perform on cello, bass guitar, soprano ukulele, and classical guitar, working across a broad spectrum of musical styles and settings.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Voice Pedagogy at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, with a focus on singing for health. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Music from Salford University, where I had the privilege of studying under esteemed performer/educators including Robin Dewhurst, Clare Hogan, Jan Kopinski, and Dave Hassell.
Throughout my career, I have toured extensively across the UK and Ireland, performing in a wide variety of theatre productions and live shows. I’ve had the honour of working alongside celebrated artists such as Stella Parton, Sarah Jory, Billie Jo Spears, Sandy Kelly, and Colm Kirwin. Internationally, I have performed in venues across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and the United States—ranging from the sweltering heat of Los Angeles to the crisp glacial air of Alaska. A highlight of my touring career was a month-long residency at Dollywood in Tennessee, where I had the unique opportunity to meet the good lady herself!
I have completed two residencies at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with international function band The Soupabads, performing at Harry’s Bar—renowned as Quincy Jones’s preferred venue during the festival. Additionally, I have performed at sea, taking part in residencies along the Norwegian and Israeli coasts with bands The Feds and The Wize Guys.
Alongside live performance work, I am deeply passionate about original music. I continue to collaborate with a range of independent and established artists in writing, recording, and live settings. Notable collaborations include work with Little Sparrow, The Greyhounds, Lee Southall (formerly of The Coral), and recording sessions with singer-songwriters such as Robbie Cavanagh, Heidi Feek, and Holly Fallon.
In parallel with my performing career, I have been a committed and accomplished vocal tutor for over two decades. I maintain a dedicated school of students and take pride in mentoring developing vocalists, drawing from both academic and real-world performance experience to support their growth.
