ABOUT ME

Sarah Dale Cellist

Sarah Dale is a UK based freelance Musician residing in Derbyshire. She is a vocalist and multi instrumentalist playing, cello, bass guitar, soprano ukulele and classical guitar.

She is currently undertaking a Masters in Voice Pedagogy with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

She gained a First class honours Music degree at Salford University under the capable tutelage of Robin Dewhurst, Clare Hogan, Jan Kopinski and Dave Hassell.

Sarah has toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland with a wide variety shows with such music luminaries as; Stella Parton, Sarah Jory, Billie Jo Spears, Sandy Kelly, Colm Kirwin.

She has taken her ukulele to theatres all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, UK and America from the desert climes of LA to the crisp corners of Alaska, in addition to an eventful month long residency at Dollywood, Tennessee (Dolly Partons' theme park) meeting the good lady herself!

Sarah has completed two residencies at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival with international function band the Soupabads, performing in Harrys' bar, renowned for being Quincy Jones's local hangout.

She has also skirted the Norwegian and Israeli coasts on residencies with function bands The Feds and the Wize Guys.

One of her enduring passions is original music and Sarah has an ever increasing involvement in performing, writing and recording with indie-folk artists such as Little Sparrow, The greyhounds, Lee Southall (ex. Coral), as well as playing and recording sessions for many UK/American based singer/songwriters; Robbie Cavanagh, Heidi Feek, Holly Fallon.

Sarah is an accomplished Vocal Tutor and for over 20 years she has sustained a school of students alongside her performance commitments.
